What I Dreamed Wearing These High-Heeled Shoes
This is a very breezy, optimistic moving image. It says; “I could not run in these shoes, but I dreamed of how high I could go. I could not run in these shoes, but I dreamed of how tall I became. I could not run in these shoes, but I dreamed of how far I could travel.” I have bunions from wearing high heels, mostly when I was in my twenties, and I have always thought that high heels are the contemporary Western answer to the former Chinese custom of foot binding. So I don’t advocate the wearing of heels, but this is an image of what wearing heels has meant to those of us who have done so!
